Council members are the leadership group of Trinity Lutheran Church. They are elected by the congregation and serve 2-year terms. They work closely with the Pastor to drive the future of the Church and shape the day-to-day operations.

Tricia is originally from Baltimore, MD and has lived in Hampton Roads with her family since 2010. She is a family physician and works at the VCU/Riverside Family Medicine Residency program in Newport News, VA. She is married to Jacob Wessler, a pediatrician in the USAF. They have two daughters, Abbi and Ellie, who both attended Trinity Lutheran School beginning when they were in preschool. Kathy Stevens
Kathy Stevens has been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church all her life. She attended Sunday School, First Communion, and Confirmation classes at Trinity. As a young person, she was an active member of the Acolyte Corps and Youth Group and also served in the children’s choir. As an adult, she has held many roles within the church, including nursery volunteer, Sunday School teacher, youth advisor, and lector.
